Quick Recap of the World Cup's Group Stage

Here's 6 quick points about the Group Stage of the World Cup. Hit the jump for the rest.

1. FIFA refs are either garbage or corrupt, and they hate the USA. Neither "offsides" or "foul" calls that took away important USA goals weren't infractions and everyone but the refs agree.

2. France proves to the world once again that it is the shithole country of the world by acting like big stuck up and pretentious assholes. They refuse to practice and their coach refuses to shake the HOST COUNTRY's head coach's hand.

Asshole

3. The big name European teams are starting slow. Defending champs Italy already are eliminated, while England, Germany, and Spain have started shakey. That isn't too much of a concern for them since many successful teams in history have started slow including Italy in 2006 when they ended up winning it all.

4. South America is dominating. Brazil and Argentina, not surprisingly, are running through teams like they are thin paper. Uruguay, Chile and Paraguay all won their respective groups.

5. South Africa becomes the first host nation to fail to move onto the Elimination Stage. Good for you Africa! At least you still have Ghana...

6. Who will lose to the USA at 2 PM on Saturday! America... Fuck yeah!
