Words of Wisdom Wednesday: "He Standin' There Like Jesus" NBA Elite 11 Demo

"He be standin' there like Jesus. This shit is crazy"
NBA Elite 11 promised to be more realistic and less "roll the dice" on shot percentage and player movement. AKA it wanted to be like NBA 2k. The results were the opposite. Check out "Hard8times" playing the demo on youtube. I started it at the 2:20 mark as that's when it gets real.

WWoW: Derek Anderson is probably friends with Art Modell

"The fans are ruthless and don't deserve a winner; I will never forget getting cheered when I was injured.  I know at times I wasn't great. I hope and pray I'm playing when my team comes to town and roll them."
 - Derek Anderson after being cut from the Cleveland Browns

I don't know if Derek is calling himself a winner here, as that would be a complete lie on his part, or if he is admitting that he has the skill of a dehydrated orangutan when it comes to football.

The Browns need to capitalize on their new space for a QB and pick up Troy Smith!

WoWW: Lou Gehrig

This may be the greatest speech ever by an athlete. Also, stop bitchin' about your little FML problems.

Words of Wisdom Wednesday: Ocho is unstoppable

“I’m traveling to all 51 states to see who can stop 85.”
 - Chad "Johnson" Ochocinco

Ocho is so good they had to add another state to the union just to compete with him.

Words of Wisdom Wednesday: Favre is not afraid

"That's the thing about Brett Favre: He's not afraid to throw interceptions. You have to admire him for that."- ESPN's Tom Jackson, immediately after the Vikings loss to the Saints.
