- Saints - They are still number 1, but hanging on by a thread. The Niners handed them that game.
- Packers - The Pack have had an easy first to games, admittedly, but they are the only top team to just breeze on through.
- Colts - So two weeks in a row show us that their offense is just as good as ever, but their defense needs to learn how to stop the run and fast since their big competition in the AFC are the Ravens, Dolphins and Jets.
- Ravens - I was pretty shocked they lost to the Bengals, but they would have easily won if Flacco didn't turn the ball over 4 times. Except them to win the rematch if they don't beat themselves again.
- Dolphins - They never win pretty, but they win. They have a really tough schedule but they were able to get by the Vikings, although that doesn't seem like much of a feat right now. The Jets are going to be the true test.
- Texans - So they beat up the Colts, but they seemed to struggle a little against the Redskins. The good thing to take out of this game is unlike last year, this season they are able to make a comeback AND win late games by field goals. I'm looking at you Kris Brown.
- Jets - The Jets are, annoyingly to me, a definite contender in the AFC. The reason they lost to the Ravens is they can't matchup against a defensively dominating team like themselves. You saw what happens when they matchup against an offensive team, they can stop them and they are able to move the ball against a weaker D.
- Patriots - For a while they seemed to be in control of that game, but while watching it I had no doubt the Jets would end up winning. They did play well though and will definitely fight for a wild card spot at the end of the year.
- Vikings - Once again the Vikings looked out of whack. Favre looks like a real 40 year old against the Dolphins. He got beat up, threw picks, and of course that fumble in his own endzone. Without his star wide receivers it doesn't matter that AP runs for 180 yards, they still won't have an easy time winning.
- Falcons - They demolished the Cardinals. That really proves how bad the Cards are more than how good the Falcons are though. For now they are ahead of the Bengals, Niners and Steelers just because of the confidence that game gives them.
- Bengals - The Bengals completely turned it around and played a good game against the division rival Ravens. They got a ton of help from Joe Flacco though.
- 49ers - In all honesty, the 49ers should have won that game. The defense played fantastic, Frank Gore was explosive and even Alex Smith played well. They killed themselves with turnovers, but at least they looked prepared this time.
- Steelers - Now they are without Dennis Dixon too. Dixon is probably going to be the started and I don't see how they can win with him. Luckily for them they only need to play 2 games until Big Ben comes back and hopefully can win a few games for them.
- Giants - Can you run the ball more against a team that just gave up 230 yards to one player? Okay thanks Tom Coughlin.
- Chargers - That was how most people expected the Chargers to play against the Chiefs. Next they get the Seahawks. The Chargers should be 3-0 by next week but they could be 1-2. If they lose, that's bad. Real bad.
- Bears - Da Bears showed the Cowboys, once again, that they know how to beat themselves better than teams beat them. That being said, Cutler did play really well and the defense was swarming. Let's see how well they play against the Packers.
- Eagles - At least Reid made the right choice eventually and decided to start Vick. Why? Because Vick is awesome. They should easily handle the Jaguars, but they did almost blow it to a Stafford-less Lions.
- Titans - At first I thought the Titans could be a pretty good team, but what the Steelers showed is that if the Titans can't get Chris Johnson going, they can't do anything. With the Ravens, Jets, Steelers and other strong defenses in their conference they don't stand a change to make the playoffs.
- Cowboys - Once again they have talent but they are poorly coached and are composed of a bunch of choking schmucks. They don't know how to win, they know how to lose. I think they should run the ball more.
- Redskins - McNabb played fantastic. The rest of the team did not. At one point they ran the ball 9 times for 10 yards. The defense had no answers for the Texans either.
- Broncos - Demaryius Thomas showed up big vs. the Seahawks. The Broncos are a decent team, but the NFL is full of talent now more than ever. Decent teams can't even go 8-8 anymore.
- Chiefs - The 2-0 Chiefs play the 49ers next. This is a make or break game for both teams in my opinion. If the Niners lose, it could be over for them. If the Chiefs win they could be a sleepy favorite for a wild card spot, or even an AFC West win since the division is weak.
- Panthers - Matt Moore completely failed. I believed in him, but now he is already gone and Jimmy Clausen will become the starter. Their defense does not look good, and they aren't even running the ball that well. Things do not look good in Carolina.
- Seahawks - That was the defense I expected to show up against the Niners. After this week's game vs. the Chargers we will know for certain what this years Seahawks will be, the team that played the Niners or the team that played the Broncos.
- Jaguars - The Jags offense went from lookin' good to lookin' terrible. They couldn't move the ball against the Chargers and that's a big problem. They have Philly this week, let's see if they can control Mike Vick.
- Buccaneers - The Bucs are 2-0, but the teams they have faced are 0-2. They basically just played teams in worse situations than them, specifically at QB. At least they have Josh Freeman.
- Raiders - Oakland starts the season vs. 3 poor teams. They are 1-1 right now, and that's just barely. Next they play the Cardinals. I thought this would be the year the Raiders went from bad to okay but that seems less and less likely every week.
- Cardinals - This is about as bad I thought they would be. Beating the Raiders next week won't really prove much, but losing to them will reassure a lot. Imagine how bad they would be if Leinart was the starter.
- Lions - The Lions just need to get 1 win and gain some confidence to boost up this list a few spots. They are so close to being 2-0, but they are 0-2. Shaun Hill isn't bad, but it hurts a lot that Stafford is out.
- Browns - The Browns, like the Raiders, were a team that I thought would improve this season. So far they don't look like that team that ended the season on a 5 game win streak. They are going to lose the Ravens and go 0-3 this week.
- Rams - They have played the Raiders and the Cardinals and not come out with a win. It doesn't get much easier than that on the schedule so don't expect them to move from being one of the bottom 3 teams in the league. At least Stafford looks pretty good.
- Bills - Poor Bills, unlike the Rams they start with an impossible schedule. Dolphins, Packers and next the Patriots. To quote my friend who is a Bills fan, "With the first pick in the 2011 NFL draft, the Bills select..."
