Okay, so it's been a while. I now have a computer, Ted now has less midterms, we are back people. BACK.

The NFL is now impossible to determine who is the better than who. Each year teams get closer and closer as there is more and more talent in the league. So I'd like to remind everyone that Power Rankings are not "who the best team is, for the whole year, and the #1 team is who should win the Super Bowl." They are a ranking of who has the most POWER right now. Who is hot, who isn't. That's why they are made every week and flex every week. MMKAY?

Week 1 Power Rankings

And we're back! Congrats football fans! You made it through another grueling offseason. Thursday night marks the open of the 2010/2011 NFL Season. We get to watch a rematch of the NFC Championship as the Vikings and Super Bowl Champ Saints battle it out. Hopefully, and most likely, Drew Brees will mess up the Vikings and win big. 

Besides Thursday night, the NFL has blessed us with a bunch of great matchups for week 1. There's Colts-Texans, Jets-Ravens, and Bengals-Patriots, among others (vote on the poll!) But that's not what this post is about, let's get to the Week 1 Power Rankings right after the jump.

Week 14 Power Rankings

I had a lot of fun watching ESPN's 3 golden boys (Favre, Brady and Romo) fail at leading their teams to comeback victories. This week just proves 3 of 18-1's beliefs: Favre is not MVP and will collapse and throw picks under pressure, Brady is NOT CLUTCH, his wins are courtesy of Awesome Adam Vinatieri field goals, and Romo will always be bad in December and the playoffs. Week 13 Power Rankings

Honestly, the Saints and Colts look like one of them could go 16-0 as they both have pretty easy schedules coming up. Every week the NFL looks more and more like its the Saints and the Colts, then everyone else.

Week 12 Power Rankings

The Steelers and Bengals slipped up and lost to bad teams while the Broncos kept losing and the NFC East got a little tighter. Many of the division races tightened up this week and we should be on track to see a fun playoff run in the remaining weeks of the NFL regular season

Week 11 Power Rankings

This was a crazy week in the NFL as we saw The Phins and the Saints almost blow it, the best game of the year in Indy, and other 18-1 like shenanigans.

Week 10 Power Rankings

This week some teams are who we thought they were, and some teams were not who they thought they were. Some players stepped up and some got benched. Here's the rankings leading up to Week 10.

Week 9 Power Rankings

After another crazy NFL week, the power rankings have shuffled around. The winless teams finally won, both undefeated teams came close to losing, and some teams gained or lost a lot of ground. Check it after the break

This week was the week of the blowout. Almost half of the games had a 3 TD or more difference in scoring. We learned some things about the top teams and the bottom teams, but the middle is just a jumbled, close mess. Rankings after the break.

As any NFL fan can tell, the superstar writers over at ESPN have rankings that are moronic flawed. So we thought it would be a good idea to fix them best we can. Not to say we are right, just hopefully more on track than they are. Of course we at 18-1 encourage as many comments and edits from the readers as possible.
