Week 15 Power Rankings

The playoff races are now closer than most people thought they would turn out to be. Get ready for an exciting last few weeks of NFL action! And check the rankings after the break...

1 (1)

If they play the starters the rest of the season they could easil go 16-0.
2 (2)
h
The defense is starting to flake out on them, they will need to pick it up if the Saints want to be 16-0 also.
3 (4)
h
Hot damn! They are the opposite of Cowboys since they are great in December and get hot for the playoffs.
4(5)
l
After getting crushed they handled the Bengals passing offense pretty well but they still couldn't stop the run very effectively.
5 (3)

l

Sometimes this offense is in sync, and sometimes they throw it for about 90 yards. I don't know what is up with this team. I guess they are just the Bungals and thats what they do.
6 (6)

Finally! over .500. Now to take the division for the 2nd year in a row...too bad they have a pretty tough schedule ahead.
7 (7)
h

God damn explosive. They lead the league in big plays on offense so they can hurt you at anytime. Sometimes their defense is flying around and smothering, but sometimes they give up 390 yards to Eli...
8 (9)
l

Of course Marshall was impressive but so was the rest of the team. It shows a lot to make a comeback like that against an undefeated team, even though they couldn't quite pull it off in the end.

This is the problem with the Cards. They are still the same terrible franchise as always, just sometimes they can play great. Tonight was not one of those times. Can you turn the ball over any more?

They ran over the lions like a good team should. This should give them confidence in the late stretch of the season.
11 (10)
e

It's their division to lose now. With the Bills, Jags and Texans up next it will be a decent battle, but the plus side for them is the Phins have a slightly harder remained schedule.
12 (8)
l

ANDRE JOHSNON IS GOD. They could end up finishing strong because they want that elusive first plus .500 season.
13(12)
h

Good news for the Giants is that they look like they have their hearts in the game finally, too bad they lost their minds. They shot themselves in the foot enough vs. the Eagles so there was no way they could win the game.
14 (16)
l

Remaining few games won't be too tough except for the Cards, so they could lock up a wildcard position by week 17.
15 (15)
jk

They dominated the Rams, but their playoff hopes are pretty much over barring a spectacular finish and little help from other teams.
16 (13)

MOAR GOAR!!! MOAR TURNOVERS. If they didn't blow it against the Seahawks they would be in prime position to take their division.

December is the coldest time of the year for the Cowboys since 1996. I don't expect things to change this year.
18 (17)
h
Let us hope Sanchez can come back quickly. Luckily they had the Bucs this week and it was no suprise to see the Jets D handle the Bucs "O" really easily.

Good god this is hard to watch. Oh wait, nevermind it is hilarious! God I hate them. If I was a Steelers fan I would just hope they lose the rest of their games and get a good draft pick. Oh and get Troy healthy ASAP.

The only team with a top 10 defense in the NFC East is in dead last. They have looked much better lately but they just can't keep up with the fire power of the Eagles, Giants or Cowboys.
21 (18)

I'm suprised they were able to do what they did without Matty Ice or The Burner. Even so, expect more losses if those 2 are out.
22 (21)
l
The have to capitolize on turnovers if they want to win. They didn't and thats why they lost.
23 (23)
l
Seriously, Jay Cutler is not good especially in the Red Zone. The good news is they have very promising young talent on the offense, particularly in the WR corps. That and Urlacher will be back next year.
24 (24)
l

Suprisingly they managed to hold the Dolphins from scoring too much, but somehow they couldn't move the ball at all on offense, not even MJD.

25 (28)
l
They have two good RBs to look forward to having in the future, but this season is obviously over. Congrats on beating the Chiefs.
26 (26)

After somehow beating the Niners they went back to their old ways and bent over for Andre Johnson to come destroy their defense.
27 (25)
What was Cassel doing!?
28 (31)
h
These guys only play well against good teams. I don't have an explination for this. Ask Al Davis. Of course it didn't help that Jamarcus had to play again. With Bruce out for the season maybe, they have won their last game.

29 (32)
l
Josh Cribbs is the man. That game was like the Superbowl to them, and it was fun to watch. If the Raiders didn't randomly beat good teams the Browns would be ranked higher because overall they are better.
30 (29)
j
At first Josh Freeman made this team into a competitor in some games, now he is just bad.
31 (30)
ll
It's like they didn't even show up to play.
32 (31)

Worst show on turf
