Best of the NFL: Week 13

Hello to all of those who are new to 18-1, and let me welcome you to Best of the NFL where we go through the top events, prevents and....ok nothing else rhymes. Anyway here you will see funny and cool things that happened in the NFL in the week.

This week we saw that the Ravens aren't nearly as tough as we thought they were, as the cold of Lambeau and the laser arm of Aaron Rodgers, and that the Brett Favre Brett Favre Brett Favre Brett Favre's annual late season downfall is inevitable, as Brad Childress cannot withhold the desire within Favre to say, "FUCK IT I'M GOING DEEEEEEEP!" Anyway for that and more, hit the jump!

First up is the game of the week: The Minnesota Brett Favres vs the Arizona Kurtinals. By stopping the Adrian Peterson dead in his tracks and making a fool out of Brett Favre's quarterback perception, the Cardinals were able to stop Minnesota's offense and allowed for Kurt Warner and his elite team of receivers to embarrass the Vikings secondary.

Ok..this is not what I meant.


Now that's more like it!


Because you can never get enough ownage of Favre.

Also, there's this awesome play

On Monday night of course was the Ravens and Packers game. Now while we expected to see a shootout between Joe Flacco and Aaron Rodgers, what we got was essentially Rodgers and gang green embarrassing the Ravens on both sides of the ball.

Although I hate him (since I'm a bears fan), I have to say Rodgers throws nicest balls in the league.

Not even in touchdown celebrations could the Ravens find peace

Joe Flacco looked more like a rookie than he did in his rookie season, as he threw with the power of a wet noodle and the accuracy of a blind hot dog (just go with it ok).

Also, he can't pull off a handoff


However, he is a pretty tricky scrambler

It also had the 2nd most penalty yards of any game in the history of the league.

So many penalties, the refs had to start throwing hats

Another interesting game this week was the Niners-Seahawks game, where Coach Singultary and his west coast warriors were looking to continue their playoff hopes. For most of the game things were going pretty well for the Niners, as Alex Smith was helping to prove that he isn't a draft-bust by lighting up the Seattle secondary with the help of Vernon Davis and Micheal Crabtree.

However, due to stupid mistakes the Niners lost the game. However, Coach Singletary claimed that the game had some of the worst calls he has ever seen in the NFL. Given his experience in the league, that's saying alot, and Singletary isn't one to let go of a grudge, if I were Roger Goodell and one of his minions I would sleep with the lights on from now on.

This however was just stupidity on the Niners part.

Now it's time for random/awesome .gifs from things throughout the week.

If you hadn't heard, Cowboys OT Flozell Adams is a huge dick. Just look as he attacks Tuck after the play is over.

Vince Young and the Titans may have lost the game against the Colts, but this block by Chris Johnson is simply brilliant.


Not NFL-related, but Tim Teebow is a huge bitch. His team blows it in the SEC championship and he crys. Urban Meyer was too busy being hospitalized for dehydration (and being a huge tool) to come and wipe them away for him.


No real reason for this, it's just real awesome.
