Week 10 Power Rankings

This week some teams are who we thought they were, and some teams were not who they thought they were. Some players stepped up and some got benched. Here's the rankings leading up to Week 10.

The Saints take over the #1 spot after looking like a stronger team for 2 weeks straight. They just have too many weapons and can come back from anything

The Colts have gotten by on some nailbiters vs. the Niners and the Texans. Both those games could have been losses if the other teams just excecuted, or made a field goal.

The Bengals are proving to the doubters that they are for real as they continue to dominate good teams especially with their defense. I don't know how they turned it around from last season so well. I guess a healthy team does that for you.

I honestly don't think that they are this strong but theres really no other place to put them. The league just feels weak this year and with the new life in the running game and Mendenhall, they move up to the #4 spot.

That game against the Phins was closer than the score will say but they still pulled out the win as they figured out how to stop the wildcat finally. The offense is starting to click but it still isn't quite right.

People have been asking "Are the Broncos or Bengals for real?" The Bengals have been saying "Yes" and the Broncos have been saying "No"

They had a bye this week

The Ravens defense is fine obviously, but they proved once again that they can't move the ball against strong defenses at all. They need to figure something out because Ray Rice can't be the whole offense even though he is a doing a good job trying.

Now that The Burner is getting things going in the running game things should get easier for Matt Ryan and the rest of this offense can start to score more points.

They didn't really show up until it counted vs. the Eagles. I guess thats not a bad thing though. Although like my Cowboys fan friend said, "They will just do well to disappoint me in December."

They play well every game even in their losses. But they just don't have that superior team quality that makes them win close games.

I hate Tynes (jump to 25 seconds), the coaches, and thats it. Seriously, someone shoot them.

C'mon Kris Brown. You miss that field goal against your undefeated division rivals? Tisk Tisk. Everything else was suprisingly good. Most noteably the defense holding the Colts to a relatively low score.

They had a bye this week

Blame Andy Reid, blame whoever you want. They are just so damn inconsistent like we've noted before. Something needs to shake up so they can wake up and use their talent more efficiently.

Good God Kurt went off on Da Bears. Even the running game went well. I think the most important note from this game is that it officially ended Leinart's career as a starter. Warner throws 4 TD's, leaves game. Leinart comes in, throws INT and sucks. Warner comes back and throws another TD. Wow.

Rivers threw a pick when he needed to drive. Then the Giants blew it. And then left people wide open. They didn't play bad on defense but they didn't play well. It was really the Giants game to lose and they did.

All I have to say is Brian Urlacher for Defensive MVP. Boy do they miss him and it really shows. Everythings falling apart and injuries are piling up.

Really? Let Vince Young go 2-0 this season. The Niners are not who we thought they were. Or maybe they are who we thought they were. I don't know. Just give it to Gore and VDave...for my fantasy teams sake.

A lot of people picked the Panthers as an upset but the Saints were just too strong. They ran all over the Saints D though and all the sudden the past few games Delhomme doesn't throw INTs? What! This is crazy!

21 (19)
Oh boy, if the league wasn't so poor this year they would be ranked much lower. The O-line kinda stinks and Arod holds the ball way too long. That combination makes for bad results but hey Ahman Green is the king of Packers rushing now!

I thought for a while their they were going to lose to the Lions but they straightened it out. They are just incredibly mediocre, all over the place.
23 (23)
l
They had a bye this week

Almost lost to the chiefs because they have a terrible defense this year. But MJD and Mike Sims Walker (MSK) are real bright spots on this team.

25 (25)
ll
Chris Chambers did well but do they miss LJ? I mean he is a little washed up but they got nothing from the run game. They also have no secondary it seems.
26 (28)

Vince Young saved the titans from the evil aliens of Nebulan 9 and got them back to Earth during the bye week to get the franchise back on track.
27 (26)
Matthew Stafford: Grow up fast or your Lions will be in the shitter again soon enough. Not that they aren't already...

It's a mess over here. Portis is hurt, Todd Collins had a higher completion percentage than Campbell and the defense got run over. Oh lord.

JOSH MOTHERFUCKIN FREEMAN!
