Best of the Year of the Week of the Year Part 2: Electric Boogaloo

It was a crazy year, filled with big plays, big names and Jared Allen. There were disappointments (Cutler), surprises and Brett Favres everywhere. Here are some of our favorite plays and events from the past season.

As the Niners re-surged thanks to the help of Coach Mike Singletary, one of the players who returned back to dominance was Frank Gore. This scene particularly represents Gore's return to power, as he makes fools out of the Vikings D-Line.

While Marco Sanchez's rookie season was far from perfect, you have to give the Jets credit for using their QB's lack of threat to pull off this trick play, as the Sanchize waltzes into the endzone unopposed.

After gifting the Steelers two superbowls over the past 5 years, it's only justice to see Refs take some pain.

It's always fun to see the Packers fail, especially when it's against the then winless Bucs, who defeated the Packers with the help of their Creamsicle throwback jerseys.

Before he was injured in the middle of the season, the Dolphins ran over the competition with Ronnie "King of the Wildcat" Brown. Seriously, the man can run, handoff and throw TD passes; what exactly can he not do? (Beside not get injured).

You really can't blame Dres Breesus for this interception, as he probably didn't account for Brent Grimes to leap 10 feet into the air and snag his pass out of the air. From that moment on though Breesus has had nightmares of flying Defensive backs.

An amazing interception by Dolphins rookie Vontae Davis, who managed to do the unthinkable and outreach Randy Moss.

It may not be the greatest play of the year, but it's always fun to watch the Chiefs style all over the Steelers and their overrated defense.

So much for Big Ben being clutch.

A touchdown and celebration from the Game of the Year.

It was on this day that Bill Bellicheat discovered that he hated mexicans.

Yet another amazing catch that involves the Dolphins (and Steve Smith of course).

It is well known that Mascots hate children.

Shapow!

Although I don't think he should have won it, plays like this are why Charles Woodson won Defensive Player of the Year.

Who Dat?

Fuck yes

Watching BrettFavreBrettFavreBrettFavre, get thrown down like a sack of potatoes is the most satisfying thing I have seen this season.

The fact that Champ Bailey got hit in the face by the pass was enough for it to be awesome, the fact that Brian Dawkins managed to snag it for an interception afterward makes it epic.

Worst play of the year, or greatest play of all time?

Cutler-Copter

Al Micheals and Chris Collinsworth were mystified by this bird that flew onto the field during the Colts-Cardinals game.

Just incase you forgot, Patrick Willis IS the best middle linebacker in the NFL right now (Yes, even better than Ray Lewis and Brian Urlacher, but they are much more important to their teams as leaders)

Who's this Chris Johnson fellow on the Titans? Apparently he's pretty fast.

What is it with the Dolphins this year and ridiculous interceptions/receptions??

More fun with Refs falling down.

Big Blue may have had an off year, but they still hit as hard as ever.

As much as I hate this play, I have to show it because it's an astounding catch by Sidney Rice. You may give credit to Brett Favre for the play, but all he did was lob it into the endzone, Rice however caught a pass that 9 out of 10 times he would not have caught, and won the game.

Here's my play of the year. Although he only played in one game this season, Urlacher's wrecking ball hit on Arron Rodgers was an entire season's worth of awesomeness.

Neckbeard. Phillip. One shall stand, one shall fall.

No, you cannot has positive yardage.

Jeff Reed after losing the game for the Steelers against the Bears in Week 2. That's what you get for being a Drunk Driving Guido who is afraid to make tackles on kickoffs Reed.

Josh Freeman refuses to die easy.

Ted Ginn Jr. managed to burnout the #1 Pass Defense in the league and our DPOY Derell Revis for this TD. What's impressive isn't the fact that he outpaced the Jets, but that Ginn actually caught the pass!

D.J. Williams is sick of your shit!

Best interception of the year? I think so

No first down for you Darren Sproles! Maybe he would do better if he learned L.T's Electric Glide.

Fuck Yeah UFL!

Chris Jennings made up for the Browns entire season with this play.

Best Commercial of the Year
