Trade Deadline Rumor Round-Up

NBA fans already know about the Butler trade and the Camby trade but what's next? The trade deadline is Thursday afternoon and we will look at the rumors after the break.
  • The strongest rumor right now is the Knicks/Rockets multi-player swap. The Rockets would send Tracy McGrady to the Knicks for Jordan Hill, Jared Jeffries, and either Al Harrington or Larry Hughes. The Knicks and Rockets would then swap 2011 first round picks and the Rockets would get the Knicks 2012 fist round pick.
  • Of course Amare Stoudemire rumors are flying around the whole league. No official names have been said to be dealt for him but the Cavs, Heat and Sixers are interested. The Cavs may be the most interested but Amare doesn't want to take second fiddle to Shaq again. Maybe the Heat will get him because the Suns and heat love trading big names. If the Cavs cannot land Amare they are going to try for Corey Maggette from the Warriors. The most common trade bait the Cavs have used is Zydrunas Ilgauskas.
  • Ray Allen has been used as bait by the Celtics a few times. Most notably they offered him to the Wizards for Antawn Jamison. Jamison is also linked to the Heat's trade rumors.
  • The Pacers have been shopping the 3 point shooting power forward Troy Murphy to Milwaukee, Sacramento and even Cleveland. In return they want expiring contracts, young players or draft picks that could help them in the future.
  • Kirk Hinrich of the Chicago Bulls has been linked to the Lakers for either Shannon Brown or Jordan Farmar.
  • The Spurs Roger Mason could be moved to a team where he can have more of an impact but he is happy with the Spurs and will most likely stay.
  • The Pistons are rebuilding as they 2000s "almost-dynasty" comes to a close. They are looking to trade Richard Hamilton and Tayshaun Prince
