Words of Wisdom Wednesday: "He Standin' There Like Jesus" NBA Elite 11 Demo
"He be standin' there like Jesus. This shit is crazy"
NBA Elite 11 promised to be more realistic and less "roll the dice" on shot percentage and player movement. AKA it wanted to be like NBA 2k. The results were the opposite. Check out "Hard8times" playing the demo on youtube. I started it at the 2:20 mark as that's when it gets real.

Happy to see Josh mccown, culpepper, Dennis green and Andre Dixon.
Mccown made a sweet loft pass down the left side line with 9 min left in the 2nd.
Blocked kick at 7:04 2nd quarter in Sacramento territory by 34 mcduffie.
14 yard scramble by #11 Ryan perriloux
Culpepper honestly looks terrible. Another 3 and out with 4 min left in the half
Fucking cannons
Sacramento can't catch either. Culpepper throws on the run way out of boundS. Next pass deep and int by # 40
Nice run by Lorenzo Booker. But I want Andre.
Halftime comes. Walking to Burger King. Wait. B.o.b. performance
Videos coming after the game in full recap.
Awesome 70 yard screen pass to Lorenzo Booker to start 2nd half
Wow. Sacramento actually got passed the 50. In the red zone!

Best of the Week 2010: Week 1
It has returned. The NFL is back people, and with it of course brings one of our best features: Best of the Week. This season though look for some changes in your favorite segment, as we'll feature less .gifs than last year. This of course will mean faster page loading for everyone, so you can get to viewing the good stuff faster. In it's place will be a larger assessment of youtube videos, which will load much faster on most browsers.
This week of course brought with it many epic moments. Big hits, bad calls, and Phillip's patience falls, all this and more after the jump.

Manly Mondays: Phoning it in
Yeah, this is a total cop-out. Too bad, I'm really busy since the NFL season started and I'm in college and all. Just read this article found at Cracked.com. Here's an example of its manliness:

Team Outlooks: AFC East
These lists will go in order of last years division standings, and I will not be predicting standings here. This is just an objective view on what has happened with these teams over the offseason and a general educated guess of how they will fair in 2010.
Take the Bills out of the equation and the AFC East could be the best division in football. In all honesty, either the Jets, Dolphins or Patriots could win this division, and whoever wins this division will be battle tested for the playoffs and be a team no one wants to face in the Divisional Round. More after the break.

Team Outlooks: NFC South
These lists will go in order of last years division standings, and I will not be predicting standings here. This is just an objective view on what has happened with these teams over the offseason and a general educated guess of how they will fair in 2010.
Almost every season the NFC South has a new division champion. Even though we have the Saints at #2 in our Week 1 Power Rankings, by season's end it is possible someone like the Falcons could take over. More after the jump.

For the 8 millionth year in a row, the NFC West may be the worst division in football. More after the break.

Week 1 Power Rankings
And we're back! Congrats football fans! You made it through another grueling offseason. Thursday night marks the open of the 2010/2011 NFL Season. We get to watch a rematch of the NFC Championship as the Vikings and Super Bowl Champ Saints battle it out. Hopefully, and most likely, Drew Brees will mess up the Vikings and win big.
Besides Thursday night, the NFL has blessed us with a bunch of great matchups for week 1. There's Colts-Texans, Jets-Ravens, and Bengals-Patriots, among others (vote on the poll!) But that's not what this post is about, let's get to the Week 1 Power Rankings right after the jump.

Team Outlooks: NFC North
These lists will go in order of last years division standings, and I will not be predicting standings here. This is just an objective view on what has happened with these teams over the offseason and a general educated guess of how they will fair in 2010.
The NFC North holds the divisions two biggest power houses, or does it? More after the jump.

OchocincO's
Yes, they may just be Honey Nut Cheerios with a funny box, but they are still funny nonetheless.
